Free Performance/Exhibit Space!

The Drawbridge Puppet Theater is looking for creative people in the local area who'd like to utilize our building to help showcase and promote their work. Whether this is for a live performance (such as a concert or poetry reading), or for a display event such as an art exhibit, we'd be happy to help make your venture a success. Team up with other area people and hold a joint event. For instance, several writers might want to participate in a shared book reading or poetry reading to increase the draw; or an art exhibit could be displayed in conjunction with a small musical act. Whether your talents are in the area of music, literature, painting, drawing, sculpture, or any of the creative fields - and you're looking for an affordable way to present your work to the public - we might be the answer.

Our theater seats 50 people. Chairs can be arranged to your specifications. They can even be removed if you prefer open space. If suitable, during the warmer months, the theater's extensive gardens may prove an ideal setting for your event. There's no rental charge or fee to participate. We merely ask that you respect the building and grounds. You decide ticket price or attendance fee for your event. Depending on the type of event, the Drawbridge Theater may post an ad on its website, Facebook page, or theater display window. All further promotion would be your responsibility. If you have any creative friends or family members let them know about this great opportunity, so together we can make Drawbridge Theater a useful, exciting resource for local talent.
